It is possible that he was a business man that bought the land for industrial use but forgot about it, but anyhow, the forest of Nobey is one mortal children avoid to the best of their abilities. It is overrun by wild-life and a few creeks run through these trees, making it excellent hunting grounds for the resident wolf population
